From idea
to production.
Flevin is an independent software studio. We design and build web applications, SaaS products, mobile apps, and internal tools — along with the APIs, integrations, and cloud infrastructure behind them.
01 — Capabilities
We build across the stack.
One studio, four disciplines. Most products need more than one of them — and they're better when the same people build all of it.
Web & SaaS
Custom SaaS platforms, dashboards, portals, marketplaces, internal tools, and complex web applications — designed and built end to end.
SaaS platforms · Dashboards · Internal tools · Marketplaces
Mobile Applications
High-quality apps for iOS and Android from a single codebase — built to feel native, and shipped all the way to the stores.
iOS · Android · Flutter · Store releases
APIs, Integrations & Automation
Backend systems, third-party integrations, workflows, data pipelines, and the automation that quietly keeps a business running.
REST APIs · Webhooks · Data pipelines · Background jobs
Cloud & Infrastructure
Production deployments, databases, CI/CD, and monitoring — on cloud providers or self-hosted, sized to what you actually need.
Docker · CI/CD · Monitoring · Self-hosted

PaceReeder
A cross-platform focus-reading app that shows text one word at a time, at a pace you control — so you get through articles, curated topics, and your own PDFs faster, with fewer distractions.
- Problem
- Everyone saves more to read than they ever finish. Ordinary reading is slow and full of friction — wandering eyes, re-read lines, constant distractions.
- Built
- A Flutter app with a one-word-at-a-time reader, a curated bilingual library of 120+ topics in English and Spanish, PDF upload and processing, reading-progress tracking, and cloud sync — backed by a FastAPI backend API.
- Stack
- Flutter · FastAPI · Self-hosted infrastructure

03 — The studio
Small by design.
Flevin is built to stay close to the work. When you work with us, you work directly with the people designing and building your software — not a salesperson, a project manager, and a rotating cast of developers.
“Every project I take on gets my full attention. I'd rather do fewer things well than rush through many.”
Direct collaboration
You talk to the people designing and building your software. Decisions happen in one conversation, not three handoffs.
Selective project load
We take on a small number of projects at a time, so each one gets real, sustained attention.
Attention to detail
The same people who plan the architecture polish the edge cases, the error states, and the copy.
Long-term product thinking
Software is built to be maintained — clear code, boring infrastructure, and no lock-in. You own everything.
04 — Process
How we work.
A simple, deliberate process. No ceremony for its own sake — just clear steps, working software, and honest communication.
01
Understand
We start with the business, the users, and the constraints — and agree on what success actually looks like before anything gets built.
02
Design
We define the product experience and the technical architecture together, so the plan covers both how it feels and how it runs.
03
Build
Development happens in focused iterations. You see working software early and often, with regular, direct communication.
04
Ship & Improve
We deploy, monitor, and keep iterating after launch. Shipping is the start of the product, not the end of the project.
05 — Stack
Tools we actually use.
The stack varies by project, but it always comes from tools we know deeply and trust in production — nothing added for the résumé.

06 — Who's behind it
Kevin Farias
software engineer · founder
Hi, I'm Kevin.
I'm the engineer behind Flevin. I started the studio because I like building software properly — understanding the problem first, sweating the details, and staying with a product well past launch.
I work across the stack — web, mobile, backend, and infrastructure — and I ship my own products alongside client work. PaceReeder, live on Google Play, runs on the same practices I bring to every project: careful architecture, real testing, and infrastructure I operate myself.
When we work together, you get direct access to me — the person who understands both the product and the engineering.
