PaceReeder is a focus-reading app. Instead of moving your eyes back and forth across lines, it shows text one word at a time in a single fixed spot, at a speed you set. That removes the eye movement and re-reading that slow ordinary reading — so you move through articles, curated topics, and your own PDFs faster, and with far fewer distractions.
Why we built it
Everyone saves more to read than they ever finish — articles, PDFs, things they mean to learn. PaceReeder exists to turn that backlog into finished reading. The goal is simple: make focused reading effortless. A calm, one-word-at-a-time reader, a library of curated topics to build the habit, and PDF uploads so your own material fits right in.
